Entered into a Designcrowd competition, based mostly on the name of the business seeking a new identity. Judging by the brief they wanted something memorable and easily transferred across several sub-brands. I was toying with Illustrator tricks in CS5 and decided I would have a go. Whilst I didn’t win the contest, I got favourable feedback from the client, they shied from the M!NK nature of my approach. Sometimes it’s all about shock and awe to get some attention out there, even if you don’t win.
